Setting up an eCommerce site is getting easier; yet, there are still some tricky bits; including security & encryption that can make setting up your store more difficult. Attend this tutorial and you will have a working web shop up and running quickly using WordPress and a supporting plugin cast. We will guide you in setting up the basic website (base install), the on-line store, customizing the store pages, and making connections with payment engines like PayPal (using their sandbox accounts).

A laptop with a local installation of a web server (Apache or Zend Server, etc) with PHP and MySQL installed and working.
